About the Boys & Girls Club of Wharton Our organization has been serving youth since 1997 and built a brand new facility in 2002. We have three full-time staff as well as twelve part-time staff who enjoy working with youth. Our mission is to provide a positive and safe environment where children can grow both mentally and physically. We strive to provide caring adults to help us achieve this mission. We want our members to develop a sense of belonging and usefulness as well as a sense of influence and competence. These are important and competence. These are important to helping our youth become responsible, caring, and productive citizens in our community.
